Poultry Industry Establishes Pan American Forum

BRAZIL - The Brazilian Poultry Exporters Association (Abef) announced yesterday the establishment of the Pan American Poultry Industry Forum.

The forum is to consist of representatives from Brazil, the United States, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Canada and Chile.

The announcement was made in Atlanta, in the United States, during a Forum for exporting countries of the Americas. The president of the Abef, Francisco Turra, was chosen to preside over the new organisation, whose goal will be to discuss the main issues related to the industry and their impact on the member countries.
