Aviagen have made three new appointments to their Eastern European and CIS Technical Service Team in order to continue providing first class support in an expanding market.

The announcement is part of Aviagen's commitment to continuously invest in the provision of technical support to help their customers grow and get the best possible results from their Aviagen stock.

The new appointments are all Technical Managers: Valeriya Cherneyavskaya, Artyom Bolshakov and Petro Kuretchko will each work under the direction of Regional Technical Manager, Jonny Harrison, and be part of a strong team of technical managers and specialists.

Mr Harrison said: "We are delighted to announce the appointments of Valeriya, Artyom and Petro to our team. All three are very skilled individuals and will bring a huge amount of expertise to our established customer support team. Customer demand for Aviagen products in the region is consistently on the increase and we are committed to providing these strategically important markets with the best possible support."

Valeriya Cherneyavskaya and Artyom Bolshakov will both focus on the Russian market and be based with Aviagen LLC in Tula. They will be meeting customers soon. Petro Kuretchko, who is well known within the Ukrainian broiler industry and has a long standing working record with major Ukrainian poultry companies, will work closely with Ross customers in the Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Byelorussia starting from 1st May 2010 and advise them in all aspects of parent stock and broiler management.

As part of Aviagen's on-going training of their technical managers, ensuring that advice is consistent, up-to-date and relevant, the three new recruits will each undergo extensive training in all aspects of poultry management, some of which will happen in the UK with one of Aviagen’s customers.
