The aim of this evaluation is to examine the relevance, coherence, efficiency and effectiveness of the measures that were adopted to address the market disruptions in the poultry and eggs sector, and to formulate, on the basis of the experience gained from the exceptional market support measures, recommendations for dealing with similar cases in the future.

The maximum budget attributed to this evaluation project is €200,000. The deadline for submitting offers is 20 July 2010.

The Commission intends to award the contract before the end of 2010, following the evaluation of the offers received.

The contractor will have to carry out the evaluation within nine months from the signature of the contract.
