Mauro Pericoli (right) welcomes Chong Kit Leong

Termotecnica Pericoli S.r.l. an Italian based manufacturer of ventilation, cooling and heating systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chong Kit Leong as Regional Technical Sales Manager for Asia with effect from the 1 May 2010. He will be based at the company's recently established Regional Office in Malaysia.

Mr Chong has been in the capital sales sector throughout the Asian region for a number of years since completing his degree in mechanical engineering and is multilingual. His role will be to provide an increased level of technical/sales support to the valued existing distribution network in addition to expanding the company's presence throughout the strategically important Asian Pacific region.

Mauro Pericoli, Sales Director, said: "This appointment is in keeping with the companies' policy of employing local management who are most suited to develop and serve these markets as they are more familiar and attuned to local business conditions and practices. Being based in the region also allows us to have more regular contact with the market place; they are also better positioned to react to the requirements of the customers in real time."

The establishment of this position is due to the increasingly successful and growing levels of business activity in the region over the past year few years and the company's commitment to the region.
