UK - The acquisition of Lincs Turkeys by Bernard Matthews has been completed, following approval by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

OFT has investigated the impacts of the proposed acquisition of Lincs Turkeys Ltd by Bernard Matthews Ltd.
Its report states that it does not believe that the merger has resulted or may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the United Kingdom, and so the merger does not need to be referred to the Competition Commission.
