Anti-Dumping Investigation Initiated in Mexico

MEXICO & US - Mexico has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into US chicken leg quarters.

On 8 February 2011, the Secretariat of Economy (SE) announced in the Diario Oficial (Mexico's Federal Register) an anti-dumping investigation of US fresh, chilled or frozen chicken leg-quarters (CLQs) (HTS# 0207.13.03 and 0207.14.04), according to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.

The result of this investigation may be imposition of countervailing import duties on US fresh, chilled or frozen CLQs exported to Mexico.
