Sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association's Poultry & Egg Institute, the conference will be held on 23 to 24 March, at the Doubletree Hotel in Nashville.

"Our goal this year is to help mill managers operate their mills with maximum output and optimum efficiency," said programme committee chairperson, Merrill Bishop of Cobb-Vantress. "Feed manufacturing is an important aspect in poultry and egg production. It is crucial for our feed mill managers to stay current on government regulations and keep abreast of new developments in equipment and technology. The program will ensure we are provided with the most relevant information available."

The seminar was designed by an industry committee of experienced and knowledgeable feed mill managers. The programme will focus on changes in federal regulations such as OSHA's grain handling standards, CSA 2010 and new emission standards. The programme will also look at attaining maximum pellet quality, review new feed mill technology, and concentrate on salmonella control and prevention, among other important feed manufacturing topics.
