US - Shell eggs broken totaled 170 million dozen during January 2011, up 8 per cent from January a year ago, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) in their monthly Egg Products report for January 2011.

Shell eggs broken totaled 170 million dozen during January 2011, up 8 per cent from January a year ago, but 4 per cent below the 177 million dozen broken last month.

January 2011 contained 21 weekdays and 5 Saturdays. January 2010 contained 21 weekdays and 5 Saturdays.
