Initially launching in Tesco, Biggies will be rolling out to other major retailers in the following months. Biggies will have a recommended retail price (RRP) of £2.09 for six eggs and come with the same great taste that consumers expect from the happy egg co.

Biggies, like all eggs from the happy egg co. are only produced by specially selected British free range farms. These naturally occurring larger eggs come with the happy egg co.'s highest commitment to animal welfare ensuring that all their birds enjoy everything that a normal healthy hen requires for its freedom of expression and fullness of life. As well as plenty of green pasture to roam and forage, all happy egg co. farms are equipped with an assortment of activities to enhance the birds' natural surroundings – from perching platforms to sandpits, swings and apparatus.

Rob Newell, Head of Brands at the happy egg co., says: "Our consumers have proven to us that size really does matter when it comes to eggs and with the resurgence of baking, larger eggs are in demand more than ever before. Our hens naturally lay eggs in a range of sizes from small to large and we are now offering consumers even more delicious eggy-ness to enjoy!"
