22nd Brazilian Poultry Congress

BRAZIL - The National Association of Federal Agricultural is backing the Brazilian Poultry Union (UBABEF) in the 22nd Brazilian Poultry Congress.

The association will be one of the sponsors of the congress, which will take place between 25 and 27 October at the Exhibition Centre immigrants in Sao Paulo, and will bring together the various links in the production chain.

"For us it is of utmost importance to take part in this event because of the importance of the poultry industry at national and international levels,"said the president of ANFFA, Wilson Roberto de Sá.

"It is important to stress the importance of the work we do in defence of our borders so there is no entry of diseases in the country," he said.

"The sponsorship of the Association ANFFA of our Congress ratifies the importance of the work performed by federal agriculture tax for the poultry industry," said Francisco Turra, Executive Chairman of the Brazilian Poultry Union.

The congress that takes place from 25-27 October aims to encourage new business between the various parts of the production chain in the poultry sector.

The 22nd Brazilian Poultry Congress will also feature an exhibition area for companies producing equipment, products for animal health, genetic material and agribusinesses and government institutions.

The exhibition is expected to attract 20,000 visitors and 1200 participants in the congress.
