DSM announces that it will face a mandatory four-week shut-down of its Vitamin E production facility in Sisseln this October to carry out regular maintenance work necessary to ensure continued performance of the plant.

This shut-down coincides with the biennial shutdown of its intermediate production facility in Lalden.

By closely monitoring customers' forecast demand, the Company says it will avoid supply interruption during this period.
