Poultry production statistics, which have been published monthly, have been collected from poultry establishments under the subgroup of NACE Rev.2, 01.47 and 10.12 in industry excluding farm production.

Egg production for July 2011 was 2.4 per cent higher than in the previous month and 8.7 per cent higher than the same month of the previous year.

For July, 91 million chickens were slaughtered, which is 4.7 per cent more than June this year and 14.3 per cent more than in July 2010.

Chicken production for the month was 149,612 tons – an increase of 1.3 per cent from June and 10.3 per cent higher than in the same month of the previous year.
