Halamid Goes from Strength to Strength

FRANCE - Axcentive from France is bringing Halamid - the universal disinfectant - to an even wider livestock population around the globe.

General Manager Toby Heppenstall said: "Halamid® has a strong global brand platform but we are not complacent. We see plenty of opportunities in emerging markets and are enthusiastically extending our reach so that poultry farmers everywhere have access to this market-leading product."

The company has certainly put these intentions into action over the last twelve months or so, adding new routes to market in Pakistan and Hungary.

Of course, Halamid® is subject to the Biocidal Product Directive in Europe and similar registration requirements with other governments around the world, so getting the right approval framework in place is key. Axcentive recently gained registration in Tunisia and is pursuing a similar process in Russia.

Mr Heppenstall added: "Axcentive has a great deal of product knowledge, technology and experience but having the right partner to reach local poultry markets is absolutely critical. We are delighted to be working with strong distributors in these new territories and continually challenge our sales network to ensure we deliver Axcentive's value and know-how to our customers."
