According to This is Lincolnshire, North Kesteven District Council’s planning committee approved the application by Moy Park Ltd that will see the construction of an additional four buildings. These plans incorporate ancillary facilities including a generator, gas tanks, water tanks, oil tank and six silos.

The plans were given the go-ahead despite objections from local residents regarding an increase in traffic, speed of vehicles and noise to name but a few.

However the plans were approved subject to conditions.

A spokesman for council’s planning committee said: “Conditions include that overnight HGV deliveries and collections to the farm will only take place six nights in a calendar month for a maximum of eight times or collections per annum or crop cycle.

“A log of all vehicle movements between the hours of 10pm and 6am will be maintained and made available for inspection by the planning authority on request in perpetuity.

“That provisions are made for residents of Billinghay Dales and the parish council is provided with estimated predications as to when the overnight deliveries will take place. Also that the administration costs associated with a Traffic Regulation Order will be met by Moy Park if the speed surveys conclude that these are necessary and that these costs will be met prior to the commencement of development.”

The site is operated by Moy Park, which is a poultry producing enterprise, with nearby processing facilities within Anwick village.
