HPAI Cases Reported in Soc Trang

VIET NAM - The Vietnamese veterinary authorities have reported further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Soc Trang.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 59 yesterday, 6 February.
According to the report, a total of 400 birds were found susceptible, out of which 90 cases leading to deaths were identified. The remaining 310 birds were destroyed.
OIE has not yet been able to determine the cause of the outbreak.
