The latest meeting – the sixth – in the series of the Turkey Science and Production Conference, was another success for the organiser, Dr James Bentley. The numbers of both delegates and the countries they represent were again up this year, strengthening the position of the event as the leading conference and meeting point of the European turkey industry, whilst also attracting attention from those outside the region. In addition, almost 30 companies sponsored the conference.

A total of 21 particularly high-quality papers were presented during the two-day meeting, covering a wide range of topics from the situation in key markets to practical problem-solving and the latest scientific advances.

Reports of selected papers from the meeting will appear on ThePoultrySite in the coming weeks.
