Bird Construction to Build Maple Leaf Plant
07 June 2012CANADA - Maple Leaf Foods has awarded a subsidiary of Bird Construction Inc a contract to construct a new prepared meat processing facility located in Hamilton, Ontario.
The 402,000 square foot plant will be the largest and most technologically advanced of its kind in Canada and is expected to achieve LEED® Silver environmental certification.
Construction has commenced with an expected completion date in 2014.
