67,000 Birds Culled in Bird Flu Outbreak

CHINA - An outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza has been identified in the Guangdong region in China.

14,050 cases have been identified, with 67,500 birds destroyed in Dongjian, Zhanjiang.

The source of the oubreak is unknown. Strict quarantine measures have been applied to the area.
