The event began with Best Opava owners Zdenek Kristian and Dana Pinkasova welcoming everybody while expressing their thanks to Aviagen, as well as other suppliers and customers, for a long and successful collaboration over the past 20 years.

Zdenek Kristian said: “We have worked with Aviagen for the past 20 years and the collaboration between Aviagen and ourselves is something that is very important to us. Ross broilers are a critical part of our achievements to date and the combination of a good product and excellent support goes a long way to helping us continue to be successful.

“This event was a great chance for us to share our achievements with those who have helped us have a successful 20 years of business.”

Vlada Zima, Sales and Technical Manager for Czech and Slovakia, Aviagen, said: “Zdenek Kristian and Dana Pinkasova do an excellent job running Best Opava, and have done so over the past 20 years. We were delighted to attend their special celebration and show our gratitude for their efforts and we were not alone in doing this. There was a great atmosphere at the celebrations and this is down to the fact Best know how to make their customers happy.”

Formed in 1992, Best Opava began a partnership with Aviagen immediately and has now grown to become the third biggest hatchery in Czech Republic, producing around 30 million broiler chicks per year.
