Novus Wraps Up Successful IPPE 2013

19 February 2013
Novus International

US - The 2013 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) has come and gone, but the information and ideas exchanged during the three-day event are here to stay.

Focused attention on key industry topics, such as emerging consumer trends and strategies to foster better understanding of the connections that exist throughout the entire supply chain, will impact the poultry industry in the near and long-term future. Novus was proud to be part of this important industry event, supporting poultry producers with nutrition solutions that build a strong foundation and helping to build connections between different supply chain points that all share the common goal of increasing quality and return on investment.

"The integration of the International Poultry Expo, International Feed Expo and American Meat Institute’s International Meat Expo into one show is another positive step in the evolvement of the industry," noted Dan Meagher, President Global Animal Nutrition Solutions, Novus International. "As a company, Novus had a very successful show and it is in no small part due to the expanded focus and audience at this years’ IPPE. The ability to talk to all key players in the supply chain at the same time is a tremendous opportunity."

One of the highlights of this year’s International Poultry Scientific Forum was Andy Vance’s insightful presentation, How We Impact Consumer Trends. The central theme of his discussion, 'It’s the product, not the production,' echoes the evolving thought process of the poultry industry. To meet growing consumer demands, it is imperative that nutrition is carefully considered at every step in the supply chain because each step has a direct impact on the quality of the end product. Novus also would like to announce the three lucky winners of its "Fast Facts" trivia game. Christina Hanna, Jesse Lyons and Caleb Wurth put their knowledge of the global poultry industry to the test and came out on top. Each will receive a new Kindle Fire compliments of Novus. Congratulations.
