Poultry Sector Seeks Revival Package
INDIA - The poultry sector, which is suffering due to spiralling prices of raw material like soybean meal and maize, approached the government seeking a revival and restoration package for the sector.

According to the National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC), a delegation comprising poultry farmers, breeders and other stakeholders from the poultry industry met Sharad Pawar, minister for agriculture.
The New Indian Express reports that the delegation appealed to the government to provide succor to farmers facing crisis due to high raw material prices.
