Financial Management Seminar to Focus on Economic Trends

US - US Poultry & Egg Association's Financial Management seminar in Orlando in June will focus on economic trends affecting the poultry industry.

With factors such as corn costs, fuel prices, tax changes, employee healthcare, etc. affecting poultry industry financial management on a daily basis, it is more important than ever for financial managers to stay informed of these regulatory policies and trends.

The 2013 Financial Management Seminar will address these key issues, as well as provide an outlook on market conditions and highlight best practices from industry experts.

Sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association, the Seminar is scheduled for 24 to 26 June 2013 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

Topics include: A Top Management Perspective of Poultry Financial Management; A Washington Review; Tax Update; Healthcare Reform; Export Markets for the Poultry Industry; an Economic Forecast, Animal Welfare Challenges Impact on Your Bottom Line; Motivational Speaker on Leadership; An Analyst’s Perspective of the Poultry Industry; Poultry Industry Overview; A Retailer’s Perspective on Consumer Eating Trends; Bank Lending Trends; and a series of small group break-out sessions.

US Poultry & Egg Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Up to 14.5 CPE credits may be awarded to seminar attendees.
