Newcastle Disease Outbreak in Tel Aviv Pigeons

ISRAEL - Newcastle disease has hit a small flock of ornamental pigeons in the Tel Aviv area.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 5 dated 3 September to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The report describes one new outbreak of Newcastle disease, which killed 30 birds in a flock of 60 ornamental Persian pigeons in the Tel Aviv area on 8 August. The rest of the flock has been destroyed.
