Air enters the inlet from the attic and when the inlet is open, air is evenly distributed in all directions into the poultry house, resulting in reduced humidity and drier litter conditions.

The GC1140 Gravity Inlet gently mixes air without creating a down draft, resulting in even temperatures throughout the room. The larger bottom lid directs airflow along ceiling instead of falling directly onto the birds.

Using GC1140 with Machine Actuator to Eliminate Air Leakage in Attic

When fresh air is needed, the vent machine will release tension from the GC1140 ceiling inlet. Once a static pressure of .06 is achieved, the ceiling inlets will open, bringing fresh air into the room. When fans shut off, the inlets will immediately close. The vent machine will then pull tension against the inlet, ensuring a tight seal and eliminating hot air from entering the attic.
