He will be responsible for 19 sales offices, 11 plants, two joint ventures and export business, involving more than 120 countries .

He will also be responsible for the start up of plant operations at the new processing plant in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates, scheduled for the first half of 2014 .

The first unit built outside Brazil will produce nuggets, burgers, pizzas, manufactured products and marinades.

The project, valued at $120 million, will allow the company to advance the commercialization of higher value-added items .

Pedro de Andrade Faria holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Investor Relations Tarpon.

Previously, he was managing partner of the Homeland Investment, responsible for monitoring private equity portfolio. He also worked at Chase Manhattan Bank and Heritage / Salomon Brothers.
