The two companies have signed a non-binding agreement to cooperate in a strategic review to establish a strategic collaboration in the Middle East.

Formerly known as Brasil Foods, BRF said the talks are at a preliminary stage and no decision has yet been made whether they will work together and if they do how.

BRF said it will keep the market informed if an agreement regarding the partnership is achieved, in accordance with the regulations.
