Armenia Imported 1.6 Million Eggs Since Start of 2014
ARMENIA - Since the beginning of 2014, Armenia has imported around 1.6 million eggs, an Agriculture Ministry official said.

According to News.am, Vahe Danielyan said that during 2013 around 17.7 million eggs were imported, adding that 615.2 eggs were produced in Armenia.
"In 2012 Armenia did not import eggs and the reduced production had to be compensated," he said.
This year the import volume is not that high, Mr Danielyan said, adding that large-scale import is not expected in 2014.
"The number of importers has reduced, too," he added.
