No Need to Limit Egg Intake, According to New Health Study10 March 2014
UK - A new nutrition research paper entitled "Dietary cholesterol, heart disease risk and cognitive dissonance" has been published, adding to the growing body of evidence that suggests there is no need to limit egg consumption.
The paper by American nutrition expert, Don McNamara PhD suggests that there is not a link between eating eggs and an increased risk of heart disease.
The research looked at the links between dietary cholesterol, blood cholesterol and heart disease risk and found that "the only health risks associated with egg consumption are those associated with unnecessary and ineffectual restrictions on egg intake."
Many diet and health experts now recognise that egg consumption should be encouraged rather than limited due to the nutrients that they contain.
