No Change in Indian Poultry Feed Prices

INDIA - Poultry products dropped on slack buying, while prices of feed products are flat this week.

Aditya Mishra, a commodity expert, told The Hindu Business Line that though there is some fluctuation in prices of key ingredients, it has not made any impact on the cost of production.

Feed prices may continue to rule around current levels over the next few days, he said. Key ingredients of poultry feed have been ruling in a tight range, he said.

In the physical market, soyameal ruled flat at INR38,300 a tonne, while bajra went up by INR300 to INR13,500 a quintal.

Di-calcium phosphate was at INR36.80 a kg, while maize dropped by INR100 to INR1,440 a quintal. DRB improved by INR500 to INR8,600, rice bran oil moved up by INR2 to INR55 a kg, MBM was at INR42 while mustard de-oiled cake eased by INR600 and to INR15,300 a tonne.

Pre-lay mash sold at INR1,100. Layer concentrate 25 per cent was at INR1,520 while Layer concentrate 35 per cent was at INR1,200. Broiler concentrate quoted at INR2,115 for a 50-kg bag.
