Novus Board Names Fraudeau CEO03 April 2014
US - Novus International, Inc., this week announced that its Board of Directors has appointed François Fraudeau as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective immediately.
Mr Fraudeau previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Thad Simons will retire from CEO and become the Senior Executive Advisor to the Board.
"The Board is grateful for the tremendous leadership and guidance provided by Thad over his many years with Novus. Novus has achieved unprecedented success under his direction and we are proud to have had his leadership. We are further pleased to announce that Thad will continue as Senior Executive Advisor to the Company," remarked Mr Katsurao Yoshimori, Senior Vice President, Mitsui & Co. (USA), Inc.
"Going forward there is no better leader for Novus than François Fraudeau," noted Mr Simons, member of the Board of Directors. "François is a proven leader with extensive experience in the feed additive industry and ability to bring people together."
During his career with Novus, Mr Fraudeau held various positions in Europe, Asia and the USA and has an extensive knowledge of methionine and all of our other technologies. Under his leadership, Novus has successfully focused more intensively on core Specialty platforms in addition to strengthening its leadership position in methionine. These are significant achievements as Novus desires to become a global leader in developing sustainable products and solutions for animal production.
