Aviagen Showcases ‘Global Reach, Local Touch’ at VIV Europe01 May 2014
UK - ‘Global Reach, Local Touch – Supply where you need it, Support where you want it’ will be the theme for Aviagen at VIV Europe 2014.
Alongside its product portfolio under the Arbor Acres®, Indian River® and Ross® brands, Aviagen® will be showcasing its supply network, investment and resources across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with the latter experiencing a huge uplift in demand over the last few years. Aviagen continues to invest heavily in new facilities including farms, hatcheries and staff in order to be as close to their customers as possible. The large network ensures strong security of supply that customers can have confidence in.
Patrick Claeys, Aviagen European President, commented: “VIV Europe attracts visitors from a wide number of areas and is a key date in the poultry industry events calendar. For this reason we are unveiling our new ‘Global Reach, Local Touch’ theme, underlining our commitment and investment to markets not just in Western Europe but around the world, including the emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”
“However, we also believe that local support for customers has a number of advantages. Not only is technical advice within easy reach, it is also tailored to specific regional conditions and challenges. Support is provided through eight business units across Europe and a distributor network across the Middle East and Africa. Service is further enhanced by Regional Technical and Customer Focus Teams and a network of specialist staff such as nutritionists, vets, hatchery and R&D experts. With this, Aviagen can confidently provide technical knowledge transfer at a local level.”
Aviagen continues to develop new ways of providing technical support and advice to customers. As well as having a wide selection of literature on the stand, there will be interactive touchscreens and iPads providing useful hints and tips at the touch of a finger. The touchscreens will showcase the latest technical tools and literature, whilst an iPad docking station will feature the Ross App, a management tool for referencing European poultry flock performance objectives.
Aviagen will be on Stand No. 11.C010 in Hall 11 at VIV Europe.
