Meat industry officials in the capital city of Seoul have had the virtues of Brazilian pork and chicken explained to them this week by the Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).

"South Korea has been facing problems with outbreaks of Avian Influenza in its territory,” said ABPA President, Francisco Turra. “Our goal during Seoul Food is to renew our reputation as safe food suppliers to the country.”

Mr Turra added that ABPA also desired to push more Brazilian pork onto the South Korean market.
