Egg Commission's Leadership Conference Moves to Scotland02 July 2014
SCOTLAND, UK - The forthcoming International Egg Commission (IEC) Global Leadership Conference will be held in Edinburgh from 7 to 11 September 2014.
IEC emphasises that its number one priority is to ensure the safety and security of its members and delegates and therefore the Office Holder board has taken the unanimous decision to change the venue to Edinburgh, to ensure excellent attendance and a truly successful 50th Anniversary conference.
The IEC Office Holder Board has been closely following the situation in Thailand and it has become clear that it is difficult to provide the right level of assurances and there remains a lack of confidence amongst potential visitors to Bangkok.
This decision ensures that all delegate groups have the confidence to travel to the IEC 50th Anniversary Conference.
By using the next scheduled host city, event preparations are already well underway, with first class venues and activities planned, social venues and attractions will include The National Museum of Scotland and Gosford House, with the opportunity to visit Edinburgh, Glamis and Floors castles, Holyrood Palace, and country estates including Abbotsford.
The IEC Global Leadership Conference Edinburgh 2014 will be an event not to be missed and IEC hopes to see as many of you as possible there.
