The ‘poultry hub’ forms part of Amrit’s five billion-rupee expansion for the next two years.

Hindu Business Line reports that the layer bird move happened after a INR5-billion deal with breeding and layer genetics company, Hy-Line International.

“Both the processing unit and feed mills in the poultry hub that we are setting up will be ready in the next few months,” said K.Ravindran, Chief Operating Officer.

“These units will be then expanded in a phased manner over the next two years.”
