Sustainability of European poultry production encompasses all the factors needed to create a durable industry, according to the Symposium organisers, the UK Branch of the World's Poultry Science Association (WPSA). This symposium aims to explore and ultimately define sustainability in the context of poultry production and to answer the questions around how we achieve a sustainable poultry industry in Europe.

The event promises to be informative, challenging and highly relevant for those interested in helping create a resilient European poultry industry. With UK and international invited speakers representing industry and academia, the programme will explore the three pillars of sustainability: Environment; Social and Economic.

The symposium will commence at 12pm on Monday 8 September and will close with lunch (12pm) on Wednesday 10 September. The venue is The Queen Hotel in Chester.
