The rules for becoming members of Ross 140 Club:

• The assessment is made of Parent Stock (PS) birds that are from the same delivery and all the birds should be of the same age.
  
  
• The age for evaluating the number of chicks per hen housed should not be more than 64 weeks (approximately 40 weeks of production).

From the moment of creation of Ross 140 Club in 2013, several operations from Western and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia have become its members. The first Russian company that entered the Club in 2013 was GAP Resource. The Aviagen team has announced that in August 2014 two more companies OAO "Yaroslavsky Broiler" and OAO "Agrofirma Octyabrskaya" became new members of Club Ross 140.

2014

OAO Yaroslavsky Broiler and OAO Agrofirma Octyabrskaya received Ross 140 Club membership certificates during the award ceremony that took place 15 August and 20 August 2014. Aviagen Sales Director Eduard Taktarov and Senior Sales Manager Marian Cherekaeva, Technical Managers Georgi Nalbantov and Kruno Bosilj attended the ceremony to greet their customers that achieved such high results.

OAO Yaroslavsky Broiler

OAO Yaroslavsky Broiler has been working with Ross birds more than 15 years and is a long-time customer of Aviagen. In recent years the company integrator under the command of Elman N. Azizov has undergone a complete reconstruction of its farms, increased the broiler meat production as well as a range of meat produced from fresh broiler meat to ready-to-eat products.

Alexander Yakovlev, production director of OAO Yaroslavsky Broiler, said: "We are very pleased to become members of Club Ross 308 and see this as reward for the good work for all our staff. OAO Agrofirma Octyabrskaya

OAO Agrofirma Octyabrskaya, under the leadership of Ivan S. Andin, has been in the poultry industry more than 30 years. During this time the operation has been going through dynamic development: Six years ago a newly built PS production unit started to receive the first Ross 308 parent stock. OAO Agrofirma Octyabrskaya is a modern, integrated company that produces broiler meat, table eggs, pork, dairy products, bread and other. In supermarkets, it is possible to fill a shopping basket with only this company’s products.

Ivan S. Andin, managing director of OAO Agrofirma Octyabrskaya, commented: "We like working with the Ross 308 and we wish to Aviagen R&D team to make further genetic improvements to the breed that we saw all these years working with Aviagen: high PS chicks’ quality as well as the best in the industry FCR on broiler level.
