Marcel Janssen

Marcel Janssen will be responsible for the coordination of technical support to customers in these countries, new projects which arise in Russia and managing key accounts. His main focus will be on the developing customer base supplied via Aviagen LLC and Aviagen KFT, which counts for over 16 million broiler breeder parents sourced from those production locations in Russia and Hungary.

Tyark Osterndorff, Business Manager Eastern Europe & CIS, said: “It is with pleasure that we are announcing Marcel Janssen as Regional Technical Manager. He brings with him a vast amount of experience, having worked in the poultry industry for over 24 years.

“Marcel is already familiar with Ross broilers and Parent Stock in our region and also knows some of our customers very well, which makes him the ideal person for this important role. I am confident Marcel will be a very valuable contributor to our team and customers.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Janssen added: “I am looking forward to starting my new role and to meeting colleagues and customers over the coming months, including at EuroTier in Hannover and when I visit Aviagen production units throughout Europe. It’s a great opportunity for me and I can’t wait to get started.”

Based in Holland, he will officially commence his new role from 1 November 2014.
