Validation Workshop Education Programme Offered at 2015 IPPE

US - The American Meat Institute (AMI) will host the Validation Workshop at the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).

This two-hour session will discuss the scientific, regulatory and practical components of food process validation, a key aspect of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.

The program,e will include a presentation by Gary Acuff, PhD, director of the Center for Food Safety at Texas A&M University, entitled, 'Basic Concepts in Validation/Verification'. Manpreet Singh, PhD, associate professor of Food Science at Purdue University, will host the 'Experimental Approaches' discussion. Jim Dickson, PhD, professor at Iowa State University, will close the workshop with the 'Interpretation and Practical Application' presentation.

The workshop, which is free for all registered IPPE attendees, will be held from 8am to 10am on Tuesday 27 January 2015. For more information about this session, click here.
