Abacus EM and PARRANDASANOAT will work to bring together international companies, local business partners, investors and cutting edge new technologies to both meet domestic demand and develop the sector's export potential, as well as help diversify poultry sources for local producers.

Abacus EM Managing Director Torsten Böhler said: "Poultry production is one of the fastest growing agricultural sectors in Uzbekistan, and given that self-sufficiency and exports in the sector are major goals, this is the ideal time to increase production and develop export destinations.

“We look forward greatly to working with PARRANDASANOAT in such a dynamic and expanding industry."

The Chairman of PARRANDASANOAT Akmaljon Isabaev said: “Uzbekistan is committed to strengthening its local market position and becoming a leading regional exporter of poultry products, creating new employment opportunities in the production, processing and sales sectors. PARRANDASANOAT and Abacus EM can cooperate successfully to achieve this goal.”

His Excellency Otabek Akbarov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom said: “Increasing productivity and adopting modern technology are national priorities for poultry farming development.

“The Memorandum signed between PARRANDASANOAT and Abacus EM in London demonstrates the two sides’ strong interest for partnership to increase poultry production and export.

“I am delighted to have helped bring Abacus EM and PARRANDASANOAT together on this truly important national initiative.”
