Since the very first delivery of day-old Ross® 308 chicks in 2008, Aviagen LLC has established a very close relationship with poultry farm Pervomaiskaya IPS and its irreplaceable director Oleg Vladimirov. He is a manager whose enthusiasm, proactive attitude and inquisitive approach to all working matters give his company a continuous spark and momentum.

His like-minded team helps to keep that momentum going: Lyudmila Vladimirova, Oleg’s first deputy and life partner is involved in running the hatchery as well as the building and sourcing of equipment for new poultry houses, Nikolay Malishenko manages parent production and control of stockmanship and feeding management, whilst Igor Tereshenko, head vet is in charge of the stock health status. In addition there are many other specialists who work closely together to achieve the flourishing and continuous development of the company.

Today, Pervomaiskaya IPS work with three Aviagen breeds – Ross 308, Ross PM3 and Rowan Ranger (coloured broiler) and do so very successfully achieving high results with all three products. In December 2014 they became a member of the Ross 140 Club after achieving a result of 143,32 chicks per hen housed with the Ross 308.

The second, more impressive result was achieved on the parent stock Ross PM3 which allowed the company to become the first receiver of the prestigious super club award as part of the Ross 140 Gold Club. This was achieved in February with their Ross PM3 flock producing 145,44 chicks per hen housed. The new Gold membership was introduced in January by way of expanding the existing membership of the Ross 140 Club. To become a member of Gold Club, a company has to produce 145 chicks per hen housed on the same conditions as the standard 140 Club (single parent flock with maximum age of 64 weeks).

The Gold Certificate was presented to Pervomaiskaya IPS during a ceremony by Aviagen representatives, including Technical Manager Goran Slunjsky, PM3 Project Manager Kris van Daele, Senior Sales Manager Marina Cherekaeva and Sales Director Eduard Taktarov.
