US - A seminar on human resources from US Poultry and Egg Association aims to address critical topics in managing today’s 'People Programs'.
The 2015 Human Resources Seminar will provide updates on managing changing demographics, benefits and wellness trends, and immigration, while also learning ways to effectively connect with, engage and retain employees.
Sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association, the annual seminar was developed by an industry committee of knowledgeable and experienced human resource managers. It will be held on 20 to 22 April at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Florida.
Committee chairman Jeff Garrett, Norbest Turkey, commented: “Regardless of how sophisticated equipment and machines may be, the success of a company ultimately depends upon its workforce.
“ It is extremely important to stay up-to-date on areas that affect our workforce, such as government regulations, union activities, changing trends in society, and changes in recruiting methods, retention and training. This seminar will provide the tools necessary to ensure human resource managers are provided with the most current information available in these areas.”
