In addition to interest in the slower growing birds, the show also presented a good opportunity for Aviagen EPI to spend some quality time with Dutch customers old and new to discuss the exceptional performance of the Ross® 308 in the country.

Henk Steenblik, Sales Manager, Aviagen EPI said: “Although the Venray Show is not a dedicated poultry show like some of the bigger European Expos, the more personal nature of it means we can get to spend plenty of time with people on our stand.

“Interest in the Rowan Ranger remains very high, especially in the Dutch market following our Beter Leven award and interest in the Ross Ranger is also growing. The traditional Ross 308 remains the market leader and bird of choice and it is great to hear so many people talking about the great performance they are getting.”
