    Backyard Birds Infected in Latest Viet Nam Avian Flu Outbreak

    VIET NAM - There has been another outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Viet Nam.

    There were 102 deaths out of a susceptible population of 114 backyard birds. The other 12 were destroyed.

    The outbreak occurred in the Soc Trang region.
