More Bird Flu Found in Nigeria

NIGERIA - Another outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza has been discovered in the Lagos area of Nigeria.

The affected farm held 3-week-old pullets, of which 1355 died and another 2645 were destroyed.

The disease was of the H5N1 strain, which has been spreading around the region.
