Nigel Strain began working in the chicken industry in the early 1990s and progressed to management roles with major UK producers. Then in 2015 he spent a period as production director in the Bryansk area of Russia responsible for an integrated operation rearing 1.2 million broilers / week. He is also qualified as a training assessor up to NVQ level 3 standard.

In other Cobb Europe moves, Paul Welten has been appointed as breeder specialist and Patrick Van Trijp has returned to Western Europe as accounts manager responsible for distributors Cobb Germany, Broiler Budeshego and other grandparent operations in Russia, also retaining control of direct parent stock sales into the CIS region.
