This public consultation is open until 2 May 2017. The Commission will use the contributions to determine priorities for the future agricultural policy.

The survey will be open for a total of twelve weeks and asks for contributions from farmers, citizens and organisations. The results will be published online and communicated by Phil Hogan, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, in a public conference in Brussels in July 2017. The Commission will furthermore prepare a statement by the end of 2017, integrating the contributions from the consultation. The statement will furthermore draw conclusions for the current achievements of CAP and for political options for the future.
