IEC Business Conference Monte Carlo Line Up Confirmed

MONACO - The International Egg Commission has announced this year’s Business Conference speaker programme which is to take place on 3-4 April in Monte Carlo.

Below is a detailed account of the programmes to be held:

Monday, 3 April

Professor David Hughes from Imperial College London is to be the Keynote Speaker, speaking on Consumers and the plant protein mega-trend: Implications for the global egg industry.

Economics Session - "Driving efficiencies in egg production - Advances in layer nutrition"

  • Professor Leo den Hartog, Wageningen University & Trouw Nutrition, Innovation in layer nutrition
  • Steve Pritchard, Premier Nutrition, The impact of nutrition on bird behaviour.
  • Paulien Rutten, Hendrix Genetics, How to feed and manage layers for long production cycles.

Egg Production - "Avian Influenza: Situation, prevention and sanitation"
