This award was in recognition of ‘exceptional broiler performance’ in 2016 shown in the average results – liveweight 1.65kg at 31.6 days, daily gain 52.2g, feed conversion 1.16 and livability 95.66% making an EPEF of 429.

The award was presented to Sergei Pilipenko, broiler production director for Cherikizovo, the largest Cobb customer in Russia. "Our next step will be to top 150 chicks per hen housed and look towards a breeder award,” he said.

An award also went to John Ross, chief operating officer of the Cherkizovo Group, who praised the quality of the Cobb technical service: "The service we receive from Cobb in Russia is surely the best in the world.
