ARKA News Agency reports that what is remarkable is that the imported eggs are sold at a two-time-higher price.

According Zhamanak, Armen Khachatryan, owner of another chicken farm, Baghramyan, brought eggs to Armenia he sold them at 30-40 drams per one egg ($0.06-0.08), while now they are sold at 60-70 drams ($0.12-0.14).

Also remarkable is the fact that authorities do not interfere in the situation because of egg shortage in the country, the newspaper says.
