Iran to Soon Export First Part of Poultry Vaccine to Afghanistan

IRAN - Commercial Director of Razi Serum and Vaccine Research Institute Alireza Taheri said on Sunday that the first part of poultry vaccine will be exported to Afghanistan in the near future.

According to IRNA, he added that the joint venture production of livestock and poultry vaccine is to be launched with Turkey as well.

Mr Taheri told reporters that during 4-day fair of Tehran 16th International Exhibition of livestock and poultry different delegations and representatives from the countries like India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Turkey attended Razi Institute pavilion and discussed and exchanged views on the vaccines.

Given to appropriate grounds in Afghanistan, exporting livestock vaccine will be started in a near future, Mr Taheri said.

Concerning cooperation between the institute with India and Pakistan, Mr Taheri said negotiation with Pakistan is in final stage and with India the primary talks have been started.

He also said a Syrian delegation had requested for poultry and SPF Eggs vaccine to be exported to Syria and also discussions with a Turkey company for joint venture production of livestock and poultry vaccine.
